GLOBAL National Security and Resilience appoints new head of cyber security and counter-terrorism
GLOBAL National Security and Resilience (GNSR), the specialist division of Global Strategies Group advising on countering threats to national security, has appointed Ria Thomas as Director of Cybersecurity and Counter-terrorism.
Ms Thomas brings broad experience and knowledge to the business, having spent more than a decade working in international security across the public and private sectors. The majority of her previous career was with the US Federal Government, where she held a number of high impact security and counter-terrorism roles. Since leaving Government, Ms Thomas worked in consultancy focusing on cyber security initiatives before joining GNSR. A fluent Arabic speaker, Ms Thomas is based in the GNSR Abu Dhabi office, focussing on developing business and operational strategy in markets across the Middle East and Asia.
